Provider Policy

Scrub Hub is a marketplace platform. Providers operate as independent third parties and are solely responsible for their own services, insurance, conduct and legal compliance.

Independent Provider Notice

Providers on Scrub Hub operate independently as self-employed individuals, sole traders or registered businesses. You are not employed by Scrub Hub, and Scrub Hub does not control or direct your services. You are responsible for your own tax, insurance, licences and compliance with all relevant laws.

Provider responsibilities

Independent Provider Status

By registering on Scrub Hub, you confirm that you are an independent service provider — whether self-employed, a sole trader or a registered business. You are not an employee, agent or representative of Scrub Hub. You are solely responsible for your own services, conduct, tax affairs and legal obligations.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to register as a provider on Scrub Hub. You must have the legal right to work in the UK and hold any licences, certifications or qualifications required to provide the services you list on your profile.

Accurate Information

All information on your provider profile — including services, pricing, qualifications and documents — must be accurate, truthful and kept up to date. False or misleading information may result in immediate suspension or removal from the platform.

Insurance & Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for maintaining adequate insurance (including public liability insurance), DBS certification where relevant, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Scrub Hub does not provide insurance cover and is not responsible for any losses, claims or incidents arising from your services.

Verification Documents

Providers may optionally submit verification documents including government-issued ID, a DBS certificate and proof of insurance. Profiles with approved documents may receive a Verified badge. Verification checks are intended to improve customer confidence but do not constitute a guarantee or endorsement by Scrub Hub.

Professional Standards

Providers are expected to deliver services safely, professionally and to a high standard. You are responsible for arriving on time, bringing appropriate equipment and materials, and behaving courteously towards customers at all times.

Communication

All communication with customers must remain respectful, honest and within the Scrub Hub platform where possible. Providers must not solicit customers off-platform to circumvent platform processes.

Cancellations

Providers should give customers reasonable notice of any cancellation. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect your profile visibility and standing on the platform.

Payments

Payment for services is arranged directly between the provider and the customer based on the provider's stated pricing. Scrub Hub is not a party to any financial transaction and accepts no liability for payment disputes between users and providers.

Reviews & Conduct

Customers may leave a star rating and written review after a completed booking. Providers must not attempt to manipulate, suppress or fabricate reviews. Scrub Hub reserves the right to remove profiles that receive repeated or serious complaints, or engage in dishonest behaviour.

Suspension & Removal

Scrub Hub reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any provider profile found to be in breach of these policies, applicable law, or where a provider poses a risk to customer safety or platform integrity.

These policies may be updated as Scrub Hub grows. If you have questions, please .
